Opal Mist I fly upon the wings of wiles From former files of guiles and smiles Passed to me in opal mist A twist that turned to pensive gist It multiplied until it bore A sapient of mental awe Then transferred it into a seem And then into a lovely dream Ah the dream that is the thing The sail that fills with pleasures spring But one must follow close the dove It’s it that leads us all to love. And love is what we seek the most For that’s the very heart and host The meaning and the magic flare It is the Eden of our prayer. I’ve learned the essence of our guile And put quiescence to a wile. |

Your poetry is Sunday morning defined in rhymes divine. Like the sunrise...you daily shine and share your wise. Words of wisdom handed down on cadenced winds & sands of time ... Humanity and humility as seen thru a gifted poets eyes.  *ww* Good Morning Sy-babes...your shining brightly this morn...as always.     I refuse to accept that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism & war that the daybreak of peace can never be reality. |

As I believe I have indicated in the past, your consistent performance is truly impressive. I can't think of anyone who writes at the level you do on a daily basis. Then someone comes along and tops you, and wouldn't you know it, you topped yourself. This one is a keeper. |

(sigh) Yes, or better yet why not let the dove get a head start and only learn to fly ourselves and imagine seeing the lapis through the opal! Sy, time and time again you impress and enlighten me with your talent. I truly love the way you write, and I know that I sound like a broken record, but, I just love reading you.
