As the water rolled up towards my feet
Like you had so many months ago
I stood looking into the sun
As disapeared did it from our sky

Orange, pink red clouds held me
Like you have so many times
My eyes fixed on their magical colour
Fading slowly returning grey

As the breeze gently brushed against my skin
Like you had the first time we met
My skin chilled, shivering
Breeze dying down to a stop

As I walked up to my home and knocked
Like you had the first time to my heart
Waiting patiently to be let inside
Door opened inwalked warmth

As I called out to you aloud
Like your soul had called to mine
I saw your face appear
Arms embracing love

Julie, this is a beautiful poem.
I enjoyed reading it.  I really liked this
part. It made it not feel so sad...

As I called out to you aloud
Like your soul had called to mine
I saw your face appear
Arms embracing love

It's hard to think of finding beauty in sadness, but you've shown it to us here.

Julie, I liked this

It was very well written

I like the way you can draw so many comparisons, of nature, to one's personal life

Great Job!
