My Heart Grew Fonder Did I annoy and irritate Pestering obsessively Then I must apologise For writing consistently The penning of feelings My hearts confession That someone special Became my obsession Attempting to reach you The only way I know By writing you poems With a continuous flow As my heart grew fonder The more I would write My depths of devotion Are spread with delight Forevemore on my mind You shall always be I hope you understand By accepting my apology Hope ©2003 |

HopeS, your writings are wonderful. Remember to be true to yourself even if you write sad along with happy. Whatever be the emotion, it is just that, an emotion. All which will pass. But, never put a time limit on it. Stay loyal to you in whatever you may feel when you feel it. It's never wrong. Beautiful write. This is wonderful. It is funny how when you write one poem, the flood gate opens and several others follow. It becomes an addiction as Sunshine said to me yesterday. We write because we must. Never apologize for that because it is part of you, the way you are meant to be. I have a friend who says I should be focusing on other things in my life rather than poetry. He does not understand if I didn't write, I could not focus at all. So, let it go. Write! -Patricia |
