In Darkness, Wait

Mine head rests in thoughts,
those of Thee, whence first
we did meet, beside the running waters,
a Willow Tree for cover.

In darkness, wait
these thoughts permeate the night,
overcoming the loneliness felt,
when Thine touch, left me
for another.

I oft recall last summer's breeze.
It's hold, gliding me airborne in memories,
swinging to the rhythm of,
mine heart's beat, to and fro.

Whilst I never again, feel the temptation
of the full moon's pull, of it's glow,
nor holding Thee, close in mine arms?

~~*~~

"To tap the layers, mind of mine
to reach and pool thine silver thoughts
enriching nightfall, in it's glow
'tis mine, 'tis thee, thine words be caught."

Blinded am I without...
Thy morning words.

Lady Ollyne

My Lady - tender are your words, your touch of pen, your kiss of softness when you write. Always yours...

ahhh. . . yes, again Poet Fair, we are but only mortals in awe of words such these that thou sharest with us. . .
