A rill of blood upon my lips
no mem'ry of my sin,
a tingle in my fingertips
frees, that which lurks within

In shadowed night and hallowed hall
at dark or in the day
what lurks within, holds me in thrall
while other souls must pay

By claw and tooth to rend and tear
what dwells within, is freed
in those dark times I am not there
though I, on darkness feed

No soul to grieve this senseless lust
no strength to cease or die
I'm driven by the need of must
while in the dark I cry

The dreams of dark now take control
for dreams of lust and greed
free that within, to steal my soul
and I can only bleed

What lurks within grows great in pow'r
for am lost e'ermore
I'm lost to self within this hour
in blood pact from before

For willingly I held the door
allowed this thing inside
and now I feel its pow'r and more;
I've nowhere left to hide

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Beloved one I couldn't help it, you made me do it, yes you did.

What Lurks within?
A reply

A rill of blood upon my lips
no mem'ry of my sin,
a tingle in my fingertips
frees, that which lurks within

With love and truth I will free you
From this beast within
This is a task of love I’ll do
To expunge this sin

In shadowed night and hallowed hall
at dark or in the day
what lurks within, holds me in thrall
while other souls must pay

I’ll pierce the dark of hallowed hall
To bring the light to you
The beast will tremble at my call
As I clear the way all through

By claw and tooth to rend and tear
what dwells within is freed
in those dark times I am not there
though I, on darkness feed

Retreat you beast, go back away
I feel no fear of you
This light brings hope of a new day
Heed to my words so true

No soul to grieve this senseless lust
no strength to cease or die
I'm driven by the need of must
while in the dark I cry

I’ll release the soul that it holds bound
And smash the chains with this
Come out into the light and sound
Of love’s eternal bliss

The dreams of dark now take control
for dreams of lust and greed
free that within, to steal my soul
and I can only bleed

These dreams that come can’t hurt you
So send them back to night
You’re protected by my heart its true
Now walk free in the light

What lurks within grows great in pow'r
for am lost e'ermore
I'm lost to self within this hour
in blood pact from before

Deny the beast it holds no pow’r
To take you from love’s light
It’s breath it reeks of gall so sour
Now send it back to night

For willingly I held the door
allowed this thing inside
and now I feel its pow'r and more
I've nowhere left to hide

I’ll close the door, shut it tight
And keep the beast at bay
I’ll release in you all love and light
Forever and a day

Keth and Marsha

Love you always
and forever
Slushy

Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds
but I can face the future with courage brave and bold
