Civic Boys

Boys in Hondas ride low and chic,
black and silver with spoilers sleek,
fancy themselves on a race course,
spin round with centrifugal force

and cross three lanes all in one move.
These boys have got something to prove.
With so much plastic by design,
the reaper says these boys are mine!

Sounds like southern California to me, Corinne - I'm not getting in the way of any of you...

Boys will be boys, then they turn into men,
that's when the trouble starts.  LOL
Just kidding you guys, couldn't resist a
little male bashing.

Fun write Corinne~

Thanks, Nan. Yep, Cali. Teen male drivers seems to covet Honda Civics these days. They drive them like they're Corvettes, but they're tiny cars with no protection.

And hey, not all of us get to live near a lighthouse! You know I envy that!

Thanks Blues!  Haha!

Wasn't too long ago that two cars full of teenagers was racing on the North Shore and one of the cars lost control and smashed into a palm tree and that was the end of that...james

Corrine, I really felt like
I was watching the boys driving.
This was cute.

Something like this happened here about a month ago, again small hotted up cars but one ended up wrapped around a telegraph pole, the driver died on impact, he had been decapitated. He was only 18.

Well written Corrine.

p.s He was driving a Honda, true that. Not sure if it was a civic though.

It happens here, it happens there. These children are killing themselves everywhere.
It was the same when I was young, they will find a way.
And then, (as Lori says)some may turn into men. (Proving perhaps, Darwin to be correct)

Yes -- followed some of those goobers down the street today in their little black Civic with the oversized tailpipe and aftermarket tail light lenses.....

Resisted (barely) the temptation to introduce them to the superior power of Accord Man!

(big hugggssssssss) It saddens me deeply to see all those car commericals out there today, sweet friend, how a good looking car seems to be capital to success and how you have to drive to look good, and how so many call driving "freedom" when really you are under so much more responsibility that many never examine! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is powerful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Corinne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
