As I am the Playwright |

As I am the Playwright Through cracked curtain, I see darkness exit stage right And a glorious new scene appear in heaven’s spotlight. Sweet background music of nature’s melody is heard, A harmonious symphony conducted by Maestro Bluebird. With Act I, comes forth a myriad of infinite possibility What will it be: drama, romance, or hysterical comedy? Still unwritten script, perhaps I shall embrace all three. As I am the playwright- creator of my destiny. Same cast of characters continue as was here before, But who knows what novelties they have in store. Will it be laughter or sorrow to my stage they bring? Perchance an incomparable medley they shall sing? Oh, who’s the handsome leading man standing off stage? I think he awaits his part to be written upon my life’s page. So, if you will, please excuse my sudden departure here, I must take time to write his lines romantically clear. And who knows... You may get a glimpse of him in my next poem. [This message has been edited by Patricia (05-18-2003 04:35 PM).] |

Patricia - I think romance should be the first act, and I would love to read about it in your next poem... BC |
