Your Brothers Worth If you could save the innocence of every child on earth, If you could cheer all those depressed with words of lasting mirth If you could give real happiness to those with hopeless plight Would you face a certain death to save your brother's life? Whatever undertaking your soul, your heart, can prove, There's nothing there can compare to love you give in truth. And if you needed all your strength to keep your goodwill well, Would you still lay down your life to save your brother's health? If you could sail the skies with spirits that are free and conquer evil forces that stir the warlord's greed. If you could show true insight to those destroying earth, would you discard your greatest wealth and put your brother first? © Eric True The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up |

(sigh) Oh Eric, that is a wonderful question, and I think there may never be any ultimate answer, but in my point of view, I would sacrifice part of my body to save my loved ones, even if I have to give one of my kidneys, just because I believe in Him and follow the creeds and know I must give unto my loved ones! (big hugggsssssss) This is very thought-provoking, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eric, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton Underneath your clothes, there's an endless story |

For my children, and for my brother and sisters, I would do anything. Your questions are poetically cleansing and quite clear. I really enjoy your writing ethome~ |

Eric...A question that many may not be able to answer, until they're in the kind of situation that calls for this kind of choice. Very thought provoking...and as always, well done! |
