What an annoying welcome
Everytime you step
In front of the bird
It welcomes you with a chirp

But when you hear the chirp
More than twenty times a day
You want to rip it off the wall and say
Will you die already

I keep telling my mom
Please take that stupid thing
Off the wall
Please
Before I go insane

But momma likes it so much
And she refuses to do such
A thing as take it off the wall
Since we got it from a friend
And all

Dear lord
I hope one day
That annoying bird welcome
Will come off the darn wall

Cold hands means a warm heart
