I am aboard a submarine Beneath the ocean I do not know how I came to be there Yet I am there Looking out port holes Wondering how long this journey will be Suddenly the under-water vessel Is flung by an unseen power Upon the edge of a cliff Overlooking the sea I look out the peepholes Amazed at how suddenly I have arrived on dry land Feeling the nature of the precarious position Upon which this vessel sits I ponder thoughts of my safety Awakening to find It all a dream or was it? |

Songbird: I think you might have been protecting yourself from strong emotions you've been feeling because of a certain situation in your life. You knew you'd find your way out, but you didn't know how, and you didn't know how long it might take. A force within you (maybe your own) lifted you up and helped you out. Your new-found personal growth and strength felt precarious because it was new, but somehow you knew you were ok. |
