I got lost somewhere Along the way to perfection Never staying on the straight Turning wrong Saying what I don't mean Doing what I don't want Knowing in my heart it was wrong I tried to make it right Looking deeply within Seeing the truth Painful, Hurting The ache that won't stop Changing for the wrong Not doing right for the right Knowing until I find the way I must continue to stay Deep within my own mind To endure the darkness again |

I often ask myself why do I hurt myself like I do!!!! It's sooo sad and painful!!!! You'd think we'd be true to ourselves!!! You expressed the feelings well!!!! Enjoyed!!!! I got lost somewhere Along the way to perfection Ringo, haven't we all, in some way or another? I don't know of anyone on this earth at all who is perfect in every way...from looks to their innermost beings. There is always room for improvement, no matter how perfect a person may think they are. I really like what Suetang said in her reply..... "The only people who are worth being friends with are those who like you just as you are" This is oh so true. We do need to have an unconditional love and try to get along with each other. For a person to have a friend, a person needs to be a friend. "To be in love with love is truly to love".....by Paladin |
