5-9-03 We as poet's write from our heart's Write whats inside,never letting the poem Truthfuly die give it spice,give it a name Give it what you as a writer think it should have. Our words; a sacred promise- Tell truths and hide lies. For you, we'll unfold a deep story, And you must find the dark secret. Give us a pen and paper wil write The story of our lives,loves, Secreats,sorrow,pain and punishment We as poets have to be strong for those Who arn't lift him or her up when they have Fallen. The words are a guide, The stories a lesson Embrace what your eyes unfold But do not be fooled. Wicked,twisted unsure words Like a black bird with a curse Casting a spell, dont let us poets Bring you down just when done reading it Leave with a smile and not a frown. Words are just words, Stories are simply memories. But life is a fountain, And you must drink to enrich your soul. We as a poets leave u with tears,filled with love Sometime even laughter and rememberance of many who Are still loved, candles burn but we still write We dont need very much light it all comes from inside deep down like a song,a fairytail,the shining of The moonlight. We'll shed light upon your footsteps, But we can only shine so far. Words are just a mystery, For you to uncover. We write to be discovered- And yet to hide tales of our own. Still have the meaning of life to understand That one we as poets may never figure out Life is truly a mystrey our poetry goes In to the times of ancient history. ©Care & Sabrina "03" |

Oh my gosh, this is a beautiful duet, sweet friends, I would have never thought of that awesome title, and may you always aoar the wing of the blackbird and feel the flight of all the songbirds and soar to so many more poetic realms to come!
