Puce it is the color, of that which is that unbecomes lavendars pop in contrast I have designer face at last.. Deep deep purple pain beneath and sallow bright of cannot heal as I finally see the tones of the shadow of cheekbone, taunting in the gallows, deigned-- a gloss-lipped smile of beauty queen. I'd look good upon tv... But here? They merely pity me. Death looks good on camera. (Death? It just looks good.) |

hey! wow!!! thanks for "getting it"! It's an uncomfortable thought for many, but this is kind of one those "message poems" (and I like to think they all are) just addressing that quirk of (assumed) vanity after death. I'm touched now, by the understanding. |
