In the back left hand corner of the parking lot between tires edge, under shadow of red steel and black rubber an oily puddle collects lost rainbows (an asphalt oasis). The sole reflecting pond in a parking lot jungle reflects concrete intentions with a slightly greasy nature. [This message has been edited by Effigy (05-07-2003 05:34 PM).] |

And I say it again. You amaze me sometimes. I got though 10 to 12 mediocre poems, get about to the point where I'm getting bored, and you suddenly blow me out of the water again. This one is great. Heck, this one is PUBLISHABLE. That's my highest compliment. I believe the most important component of a poem is rhythm. Rhythm is the heartbeat of a poem. It is what makes poetry poetry. |
