Flower in a field of weeds
stretch your neck to the sun
and free
your roots
from their tangled claws
draw
strength from within
your petals
begin
to become
the tallest among
this field
the fight
each darkened night
refrain
the wither
soft whisper
come hither
they chant to you
in your sleep
your dreams

wilted and bending to the breeze

awesome write
but these lines:

begin
to become
the tallest among
this field
the fight
each darkened night
refrain
the wither
soft whisper
come hither
they chant to you

you ARE the tallest
& most beautiful flower

the fact that you are surrounded
by weeds only makes your beauty
stand out more -

never give up - never surrender

stay the positive light
in this dark & negative world
for you amaze me
& I sooo look forward to more from you

. . . all that we see is but a dream within a dream  . . .

Flower in a field of weeds

So easy to be overcome by what surrounds us.
Gotta hold on to our dreams.

I love the thought of dreams in the breeze,
even when they wilt, there is beauty in remembering when.

Sweet, Tweets~

It is not easy to be a survivor in this world. But good will always overcome evil.

I enjoyed this very much.  Hugs, Marti
