ancient whiskey bottles
standing tall
amidst dust
and spiders weave.
bottles of crystal
glistening shyly
holding memory
of days gone by.
replicated laughter
bellows from within
obscure smiles--
and tears of some...
     liquid innards
          splash to the music
     and gently glide
          with the dance...
though still now,
the music has stopped
and quiet,
the laughter is silenced
you must believe
in the ancient stories
you must listen close
to hear--
but listen.
listen with your heart--
dont miss the songs of time.

Thank you Joyce
I wrote this about my Grandfathers old garage bar he built..Now that he's gone, it just gathers dust..no more laughter around it, no more music...but I remember the sounds that used to surround it

You certainly must have loved him very much, as it shows in your poem.  So nicely done.
