Through the winter snows
Summer rains and autumn winds
I’m sorry for what you have learned
Tearing apart without a fight
Your face wears a time line
Into the depths of tomorrow
As if a thought will take you where
You always wanted to go

When the day fails to dawn
Nights no longer cold as hearts
Time to you no longer matters
Your eyes cease to tell where you’ve been
Where love hides between the then and the now
You’ll come upon yourself in a way like never before
And your deep sense of purpose
Will somehow peacefully embrace upon you
This long and winding road, into the mystic
Is where you were looking for…all along

(sigh) Oh Dennis, this is lovely, Van Morrison was the first thing that came to my mind seeing the title too and you certainly have his poetic charm, keep embracing the surreal, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Dennis, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
