Watchful and waiting, come upon miles
calling t'wards unfolding expanses,
seeing their motions and knowing well
the names of places that might keep
me moving farther a little while.

Todays bound for the fleeting morn
on tomorrows beckoning in finer green,
colorings unravel'd on waking sighs
that breathe at borrowed, somber tones
flavors of countless miles forlorn.

Panoramic and revealing, still
as angels bow in reverent praise,
homage paid to God's omniscient plans
that sets my course along His ways
inclined to reap this searcher's will.

Watching, waiting, and then to see
all vanities burst upon the ground,
hallowed from the first, staggering step
breaking the balm of guiding bonds
there for me in patient Divinity.

A beautiful piece once again...

"Todays bound for the fleeting morn

This is once again a beautiful piece of yours dear friend, the imagery alone is breathtaking...

This is such a wonderful poem!!! I loved the imagery.  I wonder why you posted here though without checking the little box for votes. I hope you choose to post for our new book "Reflections" I know I would like to see this one in there.  This Will probably be moved to an apropriate forum. But I encourage you to repost and check the little box this time that indicates you would like this one to be considered for inclusion in the book.
I WILL vote for it then.

Love, Light and Peace,

Sherry

(big hugggssssss) Oh Walter, I pray that we can all find patience as obviosuly there is much impatience in this world right now, dearest friend, I believe if one can be patient there is much virtue that will be rewarded to each recipient and only then can we find the road to peace! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Walter, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
