People laugh, people cry, People live People die We all love, we all hate, we all destroy , we all create Where the story begins, is where the roads ends Nothing makes sence so we start all over again Tears of joy, tears of pain , where Happiness is the highest rein People smile, People frown, When someone screams there is no sound Echoing hills and trembling waters soaring eagles and squirmming otters You push and push but nothing moves You sink your fingers into the deep hard grooves Your lost but where your supposed to be Your running nowhere but your spirit is soaring free People sing, People stare, People hate People care But most of all we love instead of hate Because love opens that rusty old gate As a rider; His horse he mounts Love rises above all and is all that counts |
