Some notes Are too low to hear And can only resonate Somewhere deeper than The center of us I have felt such songs As those sung in tree trunks When gales lash the tops Stripping away the dead and weak They hunger grumble in stomach Shaking bowels and heart With tension wired release I thought of you today And remembered Some notes are not music But touch us deeply anyway |

(big hugggssssssss) This is so very true, sweet friend, I can feel it in the trees who I think cry every day as mankind bends the to their will, in those starving in so many countries, in the untamed creatures of the earth whose lives are interrupted! (sad sigh) Some can be so saddening but there is one kind of note that is yet to be heard fully, love, and if we can finally come together we can finally hear the song in its long duration that never ends! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, you have my vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Capt. Ron, I've been looking for a book submission from you. I haven't been to Open 25 since I got back on the computer (kinda got to feeling sick earlier and had to get off), so you may have put one on there. Anyway, I knew whatever you chose would be an excellent poem, since all of yours are, so..... . Hugs, Ethel |

Count me in there with Enchantress; the last stanza is tremendous. The reader doesn't know if the writer won or lost. KJ Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |

I remember this from before. Liked it then and still do. I also remember my reply but I just keep to simple this time. Enjoyed, and of course it gets a vote from me. Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Didn't even have to read it before knowing it would get my vote. As usual a 'splendiferous' piece - your pen can do no wrong. I be me BUT who does me be? |

Ron, firstly, a big thank you for your thoughtful and thought-provoking comments on my threads..i feel embarrassed that i haven't acquired a certain maturity level of understanding of life yet to reciprocrate likewise... the last stanza hit me hard of course...then i read it again and got hit by your first stanza...an not-so-desirable truth you penned in a hauntingly poignant way |

Great poem and a fine candidate for the book. J There is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar. |
