She came into my life that day, I wasn't sure if I had a chance; She was used to healing souls, I was trained in a deadly dance. Others before had hurt us both, Neither one expecting this might from above; But soon enough in the course of time, We found the sweetest love. Soon enough the pain returned, I sacrificed my soul; I had truly lost my mind, I spun out of control. But my angel forgave me, Again she offered me her heart; She healed my spirit once again, My will to use my deadly art. So when pain and rage corrupt my mind, I always know where to turn; I know the fire inside me now. Let the flames of love burn! What is life without poetry and adventure? |
