(And another iambic?) A year has passed, a new one now begins.. With wonder we await for things to come which never have we touched, nor felt, nor seen. We need not shout across an empty space to reach an absent God – He’s nearer than we think. He dwells in every leaf that stirs, in all the changing colors of the sky. We cannot hide from Him although we try. Let’s welcome then with hearts aglow with hope this new year full of promises to keep. He stretches out His Hand for us to hold. |

Across the iambic spaces indeed. It's nice to have you here at Passions. You may be our first from Manila. I've approved you for participation in the Poetry Workshop, and I look forward to your contributions. We do a different theme each month, and welcome requests from our poets... |

To Alwye, I'm glad to know that in my small way thru a poem, I've touched people's hearts. |
