Remember your birthday, I wasn't there.
But I called to tell you how much I care.
I remember your graduation I was away.
Oh how I wish I could've seen that day.

It seems that I missed most your days.
Because, I always had to be away.
Many things I've done I cannot bare.
But the worst thing is I wasn't there.

To little to late to change course.
I've begged and screamed until I was hoarse.
How I regret all that I've missed.
I hope your life will be all that you wished.

yeah, I feel like this sometimes too about my children...they stay with their dad and stepmother, but I try to see them whenever I can.
