Cold, Yet...

cold, I’m cold to the core
icy exterior
at rest outside my door

grasses coated with frost
vapors to heaven tossed
these morning hours are lost

in shivers and cuddling
in blanket I’m snuggling
my thoughts are befuddling

with breakfast’s ingesting
its warmth is caressing
to be fed's a blessing

should I ask any more?

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Oh yes, Virgina...sometimes we tend to forget of our
many blessings, don't we?
A good poem...
