This is my very first attempt at writting a poem. I felt it appropriate for the occasion. I gave it too my wife for Christmas four years ago this week. Love You changed my life the first time I ever saw you That night when I said “ I think I love you” You touched a place deep in my heart that night And somehow I just knew it was right So afraid to follow my heart Not knowing for sure where to start As time went by and my feelings grew It became clear to me… I was falling in love with you Then one day all my dreams and prayers came true That wonderful day we said… “ I do “ The love and joy we found I will always remember Just like our first December Good times and bad times we’ve had a few And through it all our Love has remained true Our Love has grown stronger over the years Even though sometimes we have shed a few tears The fond memories we have and the Love we share Will always be special to me because True Love is very Rare You have made my life complete and I just wanted to say I love you more and more each day.
