THE SCHOOLTEACHER AND THE LIBRARIAN Beneath the tombstone, Carved and gray, The loving pair Together lay. For fifty years They were ne’er apart, One died of cancer, One - a broken heart. The town has grieved And shed its tears, For this beloved couple Of so many years. They filled our lives With wit and charm, Not the typical Librarian and school ‘marm’. We know by now They have come face to face With Eternal Life And Holy Grace. God embraces them, Knows well, their names. “Welcome, my beloved sons, Jeremy and James”. |

Rhyme devine, loved the poem and story. Happy New Year. May a handshake, smile, kiss or a hug be the best present you give or receive this year. |
