Quiet whispers fill the night air
Telling of new love
That blossomed in the spring
Now binds two lovers
As they share a kiss
On an old bridge
Under starlit sky

As they kiss
The night comes alive
With the chorus
Of crickets and songbirds.

Even the stars seem brighter
Which are dim in comparison
To the sparkle in these
Lovers eyes.

As the sun threatens to end
This special moment
He takes out a ring
And slips it on her finger

Nothing is said
She nods her head
He smiles
They kiss and hold each other
As the sun rises.
