She came into my life that day,
I wasn't sure if I had a chance;
She was used to healing souls,
I was trained in a deadly dance.

Others before had hurt us both,
Neither one expecting this might from above;
But soon enough in the course of time,
We found the sweetest love.

Soon enough the pain returned,
I sacrificed my soul;
I had truly lost my mind,
I spun out of control.

But my angel forgave me,
Again she offered me her heart;
She healed my spirit once again,
My will to use my deadly art.

So when pain and rage corrupt my mind,
I always know where to turn;
I know the fire inside me now.
Let the flames of love burn!

Liam, this is beautiful.

And, Julie? If ya'll keep this up, I'm going to get jealous....
because Gary doesn't have a computer to write his love poems
to me on and post them here. He sends them to me and
I try to write them in with another poem of mine.
I never do his poems justice, though. He can write so
much better than I can. Anyway, I'm fixing to put one on
the new forum like that. It's written from one he wrote to me.
Ya'll keep this up. We who are the
"hopeless romantics" here, love it.....
