~~~~~ Must you still invade my dreams? Like a stalker who tactfully plans and schemes. Waiting patiently until I am at rest That's the time yours skills are at their best. All my defences cease to be, and slumber's blanket swallows me. Behind my eyes a movie plays Recalling smiles of yesterdays. But suddenly your face appears- What once were grins, become now snears. I toss and turn try to speak You wink at my attempt so weak. Why each night "You are mine" you emphatically say When you never wanted me by light of day. ~~~ Chris Barker 2003 ~~~~~ |

 (tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Chris, this is so very heartaching, I know this feeling too and I still dream of my Joanna even after we can't be together and I wonder why God has me still dreaming of her! (sad sigh) It all can feel so hopeless sometimes, I send angel hugs your way, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Chris, thank you for sharing! i love the end! yeah why do dreams do that to us? why do people do the opposite in our dreams to how they act in real life? liked the origionality of this, very much enjoyed!
