Gee-golly-wow! That's two days in a row that somebody in this group has absolutely made the day for me. I too have been in that position, and it was this group that pulled me out of it. I hadn't written for months and was starting to doubt if I ever would again. No inspiration and no audience equals no writing. Fooling around on line I looked up Choka because my poem Japan was pinned up on the wall beside me and I basically had nothing else going on. I followed a link to a page of this site ( /pip/Forum74/HTML/000933.html ). I ended up poking around in other pages and then posting that poem when I stumbled on the Open Poetry 24 forum. Suddenly I was among people who liked poetry, liked my stuff, and above all made it a point to make me feel welcome. You folks plucked me off the rocks and found a nice little vase to put me in..... and so far I've written twenty or thirty pieces of poetry that would not exist if it weren't for you.
