(smiles) Yay! Oh Chris, this is lovely, sweet friend, Love truly is a savior and I am so happy it has saved you too, for I was saved by love when I almost ended my life as a boy but He kept me from ridding of myself because I felt He thought I was special! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Chris, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Gee-golly-wow! That's two days in a row that somebody in this group has absolutely made the day for me.

I too have been in that position, and it was this group that pulled me out of it. I hadn't written for months and was starting to doubt if I ever would again. No inspiration and no audience equals no writing.

Fooling around on line I looked up Choka because my poem Japan was pinned up on the wall beside me and I basically had nothing else going on. I followed a link to a page of this site ( /pip/Forum74/HTML/000933.html ). I ended up poking around in other pages and then posting that poem when I stumbled on the Open Poetry 24 forum.

Suddenly I was among people who liked poetry, liked my stuff, and above all made it a point to make me feel welcome. You folks plucked me off the rocks and found a nice little vase to put me in..... and so far I've written twenty or thirty pieces of poetry that would not exist if it weren't for you.

How can I say thanks for that? I can't, but I'll say it anyway.

Ratleader - I am so glad that you enjoy it here and that we all have helped you in some way to awaken your muse. Mine actually is still pouting for some reason and will only give me hints of what to write down on paper. lol.
Thanks again for the poem Climb. It means more to me than you know. hugs, Chris

Chris.......this poem and Ed's reply are very special.  Amazing how a few words can change the way a person feels.  That is one of the beautiful things about this place, and poetry.
