Upon the snow white pages Time dries the blood ink that cries Another piece of me flows Belies the heart for the entire world to see Only sheltered from perspectives Made of fact or fiction, Some wonder, others ponder, Some know, others can only speculate, Still others hesitate, some never to care. As I allow the whispers of Father winter To bring about a voice from within Telling me to once again, Write down my soul word for word The influence of yesterday now long ago Writes another time line upon my face That I may share with God’s grace…tomorrow Someday, this all too shall pass The blizzards The shadows The stars Even time itself Will never last For Father winter will speak to me no more My Spirit and I shall walk through my maker’s door The blood ink written upon pages of snow Shall in a whisper…turn to ashes |

this is sad...a kind of somber acceptance, raw and honest, or maybe it's the melancholy mood I'm in already... |
