"Creak, creak" My lover rocks rocks, and waits for me While gently pushing with her toes a wanting glance the bed she knows and there are other sounds as well amid the shadows, rise and swell Soft pines that brush the windowpane and memories, slow dancing on the wall of sighs, nay, I dare to feign while silken sheets and rain all fall A wanting glance, the bed she knows the rhythm of the rock, she glows ..."the room is making love to me!" she smiles, her body screams... Now so eager for the sound to hear my step on sacred ground to know the secrets I will take to feel the warmth our love will make And if the passion were to wane she would rock again, and again, and again "Creak, creak" my lover rocks rocks, and waits for me Rf |

Robert-- To rock is inborn...especially for woman, I think, and is done for many reasons. Your poem, emotive with longing, with a sensual touch, but left me sad. |

Well, right about now, I am ready for some rock and roll! My heart is already tripping to the primal beat! This is my kinda sweet talk! Pure honey with lots of spice! Valentine HUGS +++ Earthy Angel |

Martie, Thanks for your insightful comment. I wrote this poem over 10 years ago about my reality. In many ways it was the best and worst of times. So you know, the aftermath was very sad indeed - but that's another poem. Rf |
