Written In The Stars

Did you wish upon a star tonight
when it was there shining so bright
that it could not be denied?

Have you ever really tried
to count the tears that you’ve cried
through out the passing years?

Do you hide your fears
so deeply that you can’t hear
the voice of your own reason?

Every love has its own season
and it is nurtured by the light
until it blooms from inside…

and still..the stars     can hear.

I must have had my momma's will
and Gods Amazing Grace...

I'm a survivor....
(Reba)

Loved that verse, and the whole of your poem.

To every season...turn, turn, turn~

very, very powerful. And, I plead the fifth.
I enjoyed all of this, a good write.

Always, Alyssa

Many thoughts to ponder on and very nicely presented, Donna.     Hugs and have a great weekend, my friend.

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn
