One day an arrow was held taut by a bowman
whose target in the field, waited to be punctured...
appetites of marksmanship pulled pointed troves
whose target in the field, waited to be punctured..
one day an arrow was held taut by a bowman

One day that final sister arrow was released.
The world of bystanders realized how silly they were..
they allowed weapons of mass destruction to proliferate...
the world of bystanders realized how silly they were,
one day that the final arrow was released

one day mutated decendents rallied for arrow day,
to celebrate their indifference to a nuclear arms race
and strangely worshipped the very weapon that erased...
to celebrate their indifference to a nuclear arms race,
one day mutated descendents rallied for arrow day

Your poem is frightening, thoughtfully well conceived and written - sent shivers down my spine!

That's right Paladin,

back to the stone age, that's where the war machine is taking us and fast...hopefully not in my lifetime.
