Picture by Alan Ayers * * * It was at random we first met Two souls drifting through space I read your words before me But was unable to see your face We typed like there was no tomorrow As many messages were sent Time had little meaning Many hours with you were spent Every day I'd write to you Eagerly hoping for a reply Such a relationship was risky For one could so easily lie But I trusted you with my heart As I revealed my inner soul For so long my heart lay empty But you so easily filled that hole I felt like I'd known you forever You promised me love and so much more You had turned my life around Were you the one I'd been searching for? But one day you broke my heart I guess some things aren't meant to be You had erased me from your memory For you had finished using me * * * I wrote this for all the lonely people who search for love on the internet, a place where people are not always what they seem. I am in motion |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sue, I know this feeling ever so well because on New Years Day I lost my Joanna when she confessed she never really loved me and had someone for 8 months she never told me about! (sad sigh) Sometimes I feel love just isn't for me but nevertheless I will keep dreaming and wish it will come, and I am not posting the Candy Heart Poems because I a in love, when I am really heartbroken, but just want to give something to everyone that lovers can share with one another and make them happy, this is heartfelt, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

this is so sad, how people can just use each other, I don't get it... |

Sue, this is very true, I've heard. I didn't meet my Love on the internet. I've been asked that, but he doesn't even have a computer. We do send each other a lot of letters and phone calls when we are away from each other. I really feel for people that this happens to, though. No-one deserves to be used by someone else... Indeed... Though "real time" can be equally as risky... I think the important thing to remember is that there's always that "face-to-face" meeting to finally make or break the bond... Wise words here, Sue... |

Sue~ I hope your honest words reach many of the people that put too much into these internet relationships. I'm for doing things the old fashion way. Enjoyed...Paul "To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you" |

This is beautiful, Sue! Both, the picture and the poem. I have heard of this happening. There are some, though, who were fortunate to find a true love on the internet. As for me, I would never go that route. |
