Toe decided to go for a sail
took his wife with thoughts he'd not fail
to impress her by being all male

but his jubilant mood did not last
though things were moving along fast
poor Toe got on board and his wife cried oh lord
where oh where is your mast?

Now Deer....you're a big golfer aren't you?

I'm surprised at your knowledge of boats and masts... most golfers are obsessed with practicing and I understand some of you practice along with other fellows to see who can get it in the hole with the fewest possible strokes. Doesn't seem you'd have a lot of time to to learn about boats.

Toe... cash flow always seems to be a problem doesn't it? I took a marketing class one time and they talked a whole lot about advertising and promoting your product so that sales would go up and cash flow increase. Might try pinning a medal on the little booger and promoting him to a Staff Seargent.... lord knows it has spent long enough as a private...

(chuckling) Toe....glad to hear it! So you have already taken care of the promotion part of the marketing.... now for advertising. I'm thinking you are going to need a catchy phrase.... you know like McD's has "billions and billions served" on their signs. We are going to have to find a phrase that is going to help your sales....

I was thinking maybe something like,"There's Toe business like Toe's business."

what ya think?

Or, how about: "Big Toe believes in safe sex....Dr. Shoals knows Big Toe"...."Talk about an Athlete's Foot!....."Wanna Get Toe-Nailed?".....

I'm assuming the Dr Shoals i this case is a proctologist???

How about, "Toe, don't leave home with out it"?

well... you may need to work with a focus group and run some of these slogans and ideas by the target audience to see how they respond. I'd suggest you get a group of possible consumer together that meet the demographics for the target audience and see if any of these hit a home run with them...

what ever you do.... don't go letting Deer know.... he'll be wanting the same kind of thing done for him.... now what was that last one you mentioned?

I was thinking...maybe add a "jingle" to my promoting.....Do you remember Johnny Cash's song..."I walk The Line?"....I could use that tune and maybe use these words:

I keep my pants up with a piece of twine
I keep my fly wide open all the time
Just say you're mine...I'll pull the twine.

Whatya think?

Kristie Sue has a point or two... maybe we aught to ask her to show us?

Now Toe..I like that one... a jingle is a good idea!

How about to the tune of Moon River...

Toe's liver
pickled though it is
he still knows how to give
    somedays....

Kristie... you know us menfolk..we are always interested in the points you women  have... we always pay attention to them...especially when it is cold outside.
Figured since you knew so much about marketing... you wouldn't mind showing us..

Women always are good at marketing assets

lol

good argument....and I suppose, since his target marked WOULD be women (I hope!) it would help to have a woman's input (no pun intended)....

LOL

awww but I DID switch majors...now I'm going towards the legal end of things...and finding out that some "good things, "69" of em' to be exact) are illegal in places I am sad to live! LOL  So, this topic might NOT be a doog one for me LOLOL
