Valentine’s Warmth

here is
a seed
for you
a small
tiny gift
a valentine
of hope
to be
planted in
the snow
warmth given
just for
that uprooted
sleeping heart
could bring
forth softer
petals in
the spring
strength now
slowly wakes
in weakness
