Cracked wind whines
Around corners
And the world white,
Mists in icy drift.

February is cruel.

Scratching gouges
Out of days
her nights seep in
Turning grey
A weak sky

And all that rise
Find delineating lines
Blurred in frost

She would own you in death
Touching frigid fingers
On pale skin until
She stole warmth of heart

When I die
Do not bury me in Winter
Burn me to ash
And let me laugh last
At her

(sigh) Oh Ron, I think February is meant to be a time of struggling, to get through the cold and prove you can rise from the ashes, so really to become silt at one point teaches you to surmount all else! (big hugggsssss) This is marvelous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Great verses Ron.  The poem seemed to sum up the winter this year.  And some of the interesting places your muse went with it.
