Friendship
cannot be measured
in words.....

I have none
that could convey
the emotions felt
between
your heart
and mine

I’ve tried to understand
but am unsure myself
of the exact definition
I would give
our friendship
should the question arise

instead, my heart
revels in the love
simply felt
by knowing you

and all the joy my life
now holds
from the mere act
of calling you
my dearest
Friend.....

Oh Michael, you too are a special friend to me and through so much poetry and conversation, i too have been blessed to know of exactly how compassionate a person you are and what makes you special among this second family we all represent! (big hugggsssssss) So I offer you birthday hugs on this special day to you and wish you much comfort and joy, yay!!! And thank you so much Susan for writing this heartfelt poe to him, you too are such a wonderful friend, yay, we all love you so much!
