Disrupted

fragile
broken
in acts
of trust
scattered in
salt glue
to mend
you broke
my heart
but you
did not
break me

As usual, another poem I love by one smart lady.

Wow... beautiful and strong. Let nothing break you... your soul always strong.

I love it.

Thank you!!

"salt glue"...is it that the healing can be as painful as being wounded, or does it recall the metaphor "like salt in a wound"?  Maybe neither.  Regardless, it's powerful!

i really liked the way you wrote this   i interpreted it as being broken up this way...

fragile / broken in acts of trust /scattered in salt / glue to mend / you broke my heart/
but you did not break me

don't know if that's how you intended it to be, but any way you slice it (pun intended) i liked it!
