Moved from a shack to a barn

0 posted 2003-02-06 01:09 PM

When you arrive here, I fear
You’ll have to suspend your ideals
I am more than my words
As well as much less
Alas

Can you pack away
Most of your doubt
And leave it behind?

The bit that remains
We can mix with my own
Cast it into the wind
That blows by this shack

Watch it drift down the river

Let it float out of sight

The small hope that we have
For a future together
We can sow with the lilies
That will grow in the spring

Your ticket will be there

Will you be on the plane?

To watch the drift?
To grow the lilies?

Je t'aime
Ed...

How exciting! Passionate poetry in motion, in real touch time. Love lilies in the spring.

This is a very special Valentine to give and to receive.  I wish you the kind of love that lasts longer than your sweetest dream.

Believe in it and be happy you two~

Wranx, thank you...for you belie this..."
I have never written, never desired to write, and now this. Perhaps it's just one of those passing things, like bowling or decoupage."

Not passing.

Not at all...

Spiritual and sentimental.

And a perfect departure point
for my own vacation.

A truly revealing piece of work, Ed...I can feel the anticipation mixed with anxiousness..but I sense a rendezvous most fullfilling for you and Heather...you'll both enjoy the scent of the lilies in bloom..

believe in what your heart feels...
