Feet tramped,
The ram's horns blew;
A quake took Jericho.
Eight million horns here, feet tramping,
Tramping....

this one makes me grin
I suppose this means the walls fell for a reason other than just feet tramping and horns blowing, eh?

I'm glad I live in the country!

My pappy says that if California DOESN"T fall into the sea like the doomsday people say, God owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology.......

Ya... but all of California has been retrofitted for our protection.  Just hope nobody breaks the seal, 'cause that's gonna be one hell of a flush.

I'm with Dixie, P'Cola's big enough for
me to go to when I want to go to "town"
and get away from the quietness of the
country...and I do miss the noise sometimes,
even though I haven't lived in town for a few
years, now, that's really "home" to me.
.
.
By the way, I've heard the saying about
"Sodom and Gomorrah" a lot over the years....
especially in Church.......

With hugs from
Ethel

LOL, noisey freeway traffic downtown?
or just another Shake 'n Bake, LA style?

Heh--- caught me!

Wrote this while sitting on a plastic lawn "chair" outside the garage, pondering whether to wait for my car to come down off the rack, or walk the mile home.....

Oh yeah, RE my comment above, I walked home, and by the time I got there I had half of what became "Japan" ( /pip/Forum76/HTML/002247.html )composed in my head.

Some quakes happen INSIDE.
