More Than Words

I let your words maneuver me to sleep,
orchestrating the play
of your hands upon my need.
The labyrinth of thoughts
that tangle pleasures, entertains me
while I am without you.
I can't escape how you
fascinate me by this phantom love I feel
when I sigh into these moments of passions,
pretending that my love is here.

One day, the pretense will take its leave
and you will be invisible no more.
My heart will feel secure
in this fortress it has built
free from fear, anxiety and most of all
from doubt, so that I will be able
to relinquish, surrender myself
to more than words.
