In the fern grotto,
A path and a bubbling stream.
There are no echoes.

It is.

It runs in from the shoreline among the giant redwoods in the national forest...

There are ferns on every surface, even the vertical ones, the shady scent of redwood over everything, surf whispering in the background, and the little gravelly stream beside your path....

I'll send a picture if you like.....

Ed--It is an amazing place, quite magical actually. I'm thinking of Fern Canyon in northern California above Eureka...are you?

Yes, maam, that would be the place.....

One of those places you can visit, and still see a year afterward just by closing your eyes....
