In Sorrowed Times

Flowering ( part 3 )

Each morn she woke from streams of thought
that flowed with warmth to fill her head.
She dressed for him, though never seen
and gathered words of truth to shed.

A caterpillar in its stage,
not knowing what it's looking for
in need to crawl and find its way,
climbing life in want of more.

This she of he who found in eyes,
sincerity in shades of  blue.
His depth would fill her mind, intense
in hopes to bring her back, renew.

The caterpillar grew in strength
and raised itself to top of heap,
closed its eyes and found its home
cocooning self in future's reap.

And this he did, each step they took,
each moment shared in kiss of eyes
each hand in hold, each warmth of look
she rendered him, releasing ties.

And then one day its wings were born
aged but beautiful in flight.
A butterfly, it had become
and shed its past in dawn of light.

Then she of he, removed the doubts
had seen the hope that changes bring,
once cocooned, but struggled free
let go, she did, of everything.

thank you Martie, I was sort of telling a story...part 3 of Sorrowed Times..because  someone brought forth part 1 and  reminded me it was unfinished.

Have you ever read the book "hope for the flowers" by trina paulus... a tale about life, partly about revolution and lots about hope.. for adults and others(including caterpillars who can read) a very charming book of truth *s

Thanks Pat, after a day of sewing I thought I would take a break and write part 3.I guess I am trying to show my struggle in  life and how I reached the level I am at...
not quite there yet, but working on it
