Mask of Kindness

If this be true, I need not ask
For truth would never wear a mask
A smile that’s false and reaches out
Bears gifts wrapped up and tied with doubt

For one who truly, kindly gives
With inward smiles of pleasure lives
The gift he bears comes unadorned
For it cannot be held or worn

Nor could a mask conceal in wealth
The gift of love and of the self

A gift such as you give... an eternal outpouring of love and kindness, my friend...

Dear Elizabeth, this is beautiful, as work of yours always seems to be, how wonderful to meet someone as you have described; it would be a friend for life, or one you would try to hold for life and befriend.

Much enjoyed.

Sincerely
Rick

wow this is quite amazingly beautiful and extremely true
We all 'give' for such selfish reasons....

(smiles) When you're just an organic philanthropist, you need not any mask, even at some Mardi Gras, as for those who are Kohlberg Moral Development Stages 1 or 2, soon the porcelain will wear thin and hopefully the true meaning of kindness will be recognized in them! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elizabeth, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
