Okay, this question is probably going to seem dumb, since I am a poet and all, but I guess there is nothing wrong with being dumb every once in a while! What is senryu, and what is the difference between it and haiku? Thanks... Benjamin, No, that's certainly not dumb. I've only been here since September and I had never heard of these little Japanese verses until I came here. I don't know much now, except that I love to try to write them. I think they're fun, and since I tend to get long-winded  I try to put my thoughts into a few words, sometimes. Anyway, from what I understand, a senryu and a haiku are the same, with 5-7-5 syllables, except that a haiku is about nature and a senryu is about anything, I guess. Both have those three lines. Hope that helped a little bit. . . Thanks for reading and replying. I appreciate it very much... . . . I'm going to my parents this afternoon, so I'll see you all when I get back...
