you my many faceted friend refract the light in a hundred shimmering personas and if your soul absorbs the light it arcs in black rainbows sparkling obsidian shimmering beautifully |

Anne, I love this poem and have such a friend. I don't see any guidelines for critiquing, which I rarely do. But I want to say if these lines were spaced out a little more and you replaced one of the shimmerings with a different word, the poem would "shimmer"... It shines as is however...I like it. Thanks, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

thanks for your suggestion... i'm going to play with the shimmering... i appreciate your words. this is one of my favs - simply because of the person it is about, a very unique friend. |
