The heart of you

She makes me feel.
She is the Moonlight wind that kisses my cheek on a hot Summer night.
She is the Sunlight rain that washes my soul of its loss from time.
In her eyes, I find that love is more than something more than poets and singers share.
In her voice, I hear the secrets that have escaped my lips for far too long of a life.

She is the part of myself that I have denied for far too long.
Can you not see that?
The things that you once denied me, I now find in her.
She allows me to feel.
Where there was once confusion of emotion, there is now clarity of feeling.
This is what I find in her, the thing that you could never give me,
Perhaps, because you could not find it yourself.

She makes me feel.

She is the page on which I can write my most passionate words.
She is the book that can read to me her most heartfelt stories.
In her arms, I find that home is closer than I could have ever believed.
In her touch, I know that my heart is safe within her warmth.

She remains herself, a part of me that is still separate.
Can you not see that?
She does not lose who she is inside of my being, as you did.
She reminds me that love is not always candy and flowers.
That reality must always have a place at love’s table.
She is not afraid to tell me when I have hurt her, or made her angry.
She allows me to feel.
She makes me aware that I still have much to learn,
And that love is more than just a feeling between two souls in time,
It is a destination, a place of life.

She makes me feel.

She is the light that does more than shine in the darkness of my life.
She is the flame that does more than warm the depth of my soul.
In her life, my own life has found new meaning and inspiration.
In her time, my time will pass by along with hers, and our love will always be.

”She makes me feel.”
This is what I told her when she asked about you.
They were the words that my heart never thought they would utter again
Until that first night, when your hand held mine, and your eyes met mine.
“She makes me feel.”
And this, is our love.

What light through yon window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

well...I don't know what to say except I wish someone I knew would read this and could feel that way...

(sigh) This is so beautiful, sweet friend, this made me smile as the thing that makes me feel good about love is how you imagine anothers heart feels who you have love for and how you are the one who has changed that persons world!
