Dad said,

Do your best, my son
It is all that you can do,
No one satisfies

Hmmm, is that a typo in this thought provoking write?

That is all anyone can do, Karilea! You can't satify everyone else.

Larry, thank you.  Irk.  I missed what I thought would be timely.

I saw the senior President Bush just two weeks ago; I was taken by the fact that he tried HIS BEST; I was taken even more by the fact that he is letting his son TRY TO DO HIS BEST.  I thought it a good time to say...

everyone tries his best.

Everyone.

I do.  You do.  I can't sling mud.  I'm about to live in a glass house...[we're getting new windows].

I just hope...

everyone will pull together.

That's all.

K

Karilea,
I wanna be on your team! I'm willing to pull my weight. Well at least my share.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Larry?  Welcome aboard!

We can tear our country apart; or we can pull it together.  No one has all the answers; I have never had ANY answers, just ask my daughters...

BUT...

if we allow all the others to see that we are NOT one as a NATION...

then what does one little voice have?

Walt...

If not for my daddies...

and their ability to come to a country and lift a hand for what we could accomplish...

AND for my ability to not suffer for what was taken from the natives...

damn it...

sometimes I wish I weren't here....

who's my daddy?

God.

Thank you, Nancy Lee, and everyone.  I don't often get on a soap box...I just get very tired of people not realizing that we are ALL ...

just people.

And now I realize that I am Very Tired so I will retire...and hope that He will watch over ALL of us...and take care of those that don't care to be part of the world....

Karilea, I just got back here and read your emotional write...and replies. Friend, you said a multitude of truth in your few words.
.
.
Our Nation needs to stand together now as much as we've ever needed to...and to just stop being so judgmental of our leaders, and to do as the Bible tells us to do....TO  PRAY  FOR  OUR  LEADERS
.
.
The most  anyone can do is their best.
